What is it?

Originally a name that I thought would be cool for a band, is a project dedicated to the influence alternative music has made on society. While alternative music is a broad term, it can often be used as the scapegoat for those who are not comfortable sharing their preferred genre of music when asked, "What type of music do you listen to?"

What does it mean?

The name 'Rusholme' derives from The Smiths' song "Rusholme Ruffians" off their 1985 album, "Meat is Murder." While the song itself is not the most popular in their discography, the band has made an ever-lasting impact in the alternative music genre and has been a popular gateway into the various sub-genres that derive from alternative.

What are you trying to sell?

Rusholme is dedicated to incorporating the world of alternative music, which I use loosely as there are various sub-genres that derive from such, with the world of quality clothing. However, Rusholme is not only about selling, I wish to make it more of a community that spreads influence to one another through music awareness.

Obviously, I have a long way to go from here but I want to use this brand/identity for such and hope the growth of Rusholme allows others to be inspired by music just as much as I have.

2025 will be a fresh start to a new record (figuratively). Thanks for reading.
